Welcome Bags

Since all of our guests are from Australia or the lower 48, in lieu of traditional favors, we want to give guests "welcome bags."

I found tote bags that I can customize with a minimum order of only 36 for $3.67 each plus $2.50 each for a screen design. http://www.inkhead.com/promotional-bags/promotional-tote-bags+promotional-canvas-bags/harriton-contrast-handle-tote-bag_pv-6593-0.html

**UPDATE**
After some budgeting and lots of spreadsheets, I couldn't stand spending over $6/bag.  So, I started searching again.  I decided to use reusable grocery bags--I like the functionality and the message.  On Amazon.com, CYMA sells bags for $2 each (sets of 5 for $10).  With their expensive shipping, they're still only $3.50 each, total.

NEW bag choice!
Welcome Bags: CYMA on Amazon.com, ABC store, Safeway, Costco, Walmart.  I think we probably spent about $15-20 per bag.  OK, so here’s the list of what our welcome bags included and from where we got them:

Amazon: CYMA reusable bags, Frisbee, “Emergency Kit” (Tylenol, Purell wipes, shout wipes ordered separately), Black folder to hold all paper/info

Walmart: 2011 Hawaii Calendar, Hawaii plastic key chain, Hawaii Playing Cards (some ABC store & Safeway, too)

Longs: Kauai Cookies

Costco: Maui Chips, Choc. Covered mac nuts, singles (variety), Variety sandwich cookies

In addition to the airport, brochures and maps can be found at every Safeway store.  We grabbed heaps and put them in the black folders along with timelines, week schedules, snorkel waivers and info.
