BEGINNING WORDS
On behalf of Brittana and Glenn, I welcome you and thank you all for gathering here on this beautiful day to witness their ceremony. The fact that you all have travelled such a great distance to be here today is a testament to the amazing amount of love and support they have. Many of you have given them much happiness, love, warmth, and guidance through the various stages of their lives. They would like to sincerely thank you all for being here to celebrate their big day. Further, Brittana and Glenn hope that you will always support and encourage them as they discover the commitment and dedication needed to make marriage work; so, this invitation is not just for one afternoon, but is an open invitation to be a part of their life.
A special and respectful acknowledgement must also be made to those friends and family members who were unable to attend, or have passed on, but whose spirit remains alive and strong in all our hearts.
I have also been asked by Brittana and Glenn to thank their parents for the wonderful lives they have given them, for the hard work and guidance they have provided, for their everlasting love, support, and encouragement. It is from them that they have learned the true meaning of love, friendship and family.
Brittana and Glenn, the two of you have come before us, to make a new beginning. You have come individually and you have come to make a commitment: you have chosen to walk through life together. There is no truer statement of love. The choice was not made by any one moment, but by being together you grew to realize that you belonged together and that you fulfilled each other’s needs. You have come to thrive upon each other’s presence, loyalty and wisdom. The foundation of your love is profound friendship. A friendship you have nurtured until at last you realized that you wanted to be together always. You bring individual strengths, wisdom and personalities and you commit yourselves to a life journey together. The commitment you make today will be the foundation on which you will build your life together.

Brittana and Glenn, I ask you now to affirm your willingness to enter this commitment and share all its joys and sorrows, whatever the future will bring to you.
Brittana, do you take Glenn as your partner in life in such a way that you will meet every situation of life together: the peaceful and the chaotic, the routine and the exciting, the sorrowful and the joyful? Do you promise to love, encourage, and commit yourself to him with your deepest devotion?

Brittana and Glenn had asked if there were any family traditions that they should continue in their ceremony, to which John replied, ‘personalized vows.’ Brittana has happily written hers for Glenn, and for Brittana, Glenn has a few remarks prepared, as well.

Inspired by their love story, Brittana’s childhood friend, Enna, has composed a song for them. Brittana and Glenn felt that she must have read their minds and hearts, because the lyrics fit them so well. At their request, Enna will perform her song.
EXCHANGING OF RINGS/READING
As an expression that you are joined together in love - will you please hold up your hands and hold one another, so you may feel the gift that you are to each other. As you do so, Brittana’s Uncle Tom will perform a reading.
I will now ask you to seal the vows, which you have just made, by the giving and receiving of rings.

These rings mark the beginning of a long journey filled with wonder, surprises, laughter, tears, celebration, grief, and joy. May these rings glow every day in reflection of the warmth and love, which flow through the two of you today. And let these rings be another everyday reminder of your love and commitment.
